My Research

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a scientist interested in how we work and how we can better our lives. I conduct research at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. My research investigates topics related to mental health, couple relationships/marriage, couples counseling, the benefits of mindfulness, and stress physiology. I am also a reviewer for the Journal of Family Psychology and Family Relations.

Here is an article I wrote as a Psychology Today writer describing one study my colleagues and I conducted recently: Why Fights With Your Spouse Are Making Your Teenager Anxious

Check out a list of my conference presentations and publications below- and if you’re interested, you can click on the doi links or search any of the titles in google scholar!
