Dr. Tasha Seiter, MS, PhD, LMFT

As a couples, individual, and family therapist, my mission in life is to help alleviate suffering and disconnection as well as create more safety, joy, and love in this world. To me, there is something magical about sharing in others’ worlds, connecting to a sense of common humanity that we all share. I feel so grateful to be able to do this every day.

Before becoming a therapist, it was my lifelong dream, rooted in an aspiration to make a difference in others’ lives and an avid interest in psychology and relationships. I see this life as my true calling. In addition to being a therapist, I enjoy teaching courses, guest lecturing, and conducting research at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I also love to stay involved in the community, and I am the founder of the Fort Collins EFT Community. Another interest of mine is writing; I am a writer for Psychology Today and I have been featured in various media outlets as a writer and/or expert. If you’d like more information on my science-backed and compassionate approach to couples, individual, and family therapy, you can learn more by following each link.

In my free time, I love spending time with those close to me, being outside, being active, learning new things, and sometimes being very lazy. I do a lot of camping, biking, jogging, hiking, white water rafting, and shaking it out to live music. I adore audiobooks and listen to all things psychology (especially mindfulness and relationships). And then with other time, don’t we all enjoy watching a little Netflix?!
